Valeria Boss, Artistic Director

Valeria began AVBS with a single vision--to provide an experience for people that was focused on the guest and not on the hairdresser. Through her work with Paul Mitchell, as a Platform Artist, Valeria perfected her skills, her communication and her passion for providing "real-world" hair for her guests. As one of the most well-known hair-dressers in the area, she has never lost sight of her desire keep the salon experience focused on the customer. This is a concept that she instills in all of her stylists and has made AVBS the most respected salon in the area.

Valeria excudes professionalism, class and yet remains one of the most humble and kind people that you will ever meet. She is always concerned for the well-being and happiness of others.

 

Michael Boss, Salon Director

Michael Boss is a former artist for Paul Mitchell. Michael has trained with the best Art Directors in Paul Mitchell including his mentor Robert Cromeans, Scott Cole, Takashi Kitamura, DJ Muldoon and Angus Mitchell. Michael is a haircutting specialist that has been trained in foundational styles including Sassoon, Paul Mitchell and Color-Cutting USA. With a flair for the bold, dramatic and modern, Michael's cuts are tailored and individualized for each guest. Michael is responsible for the day to day functionality of AVBS and is a respect salon and business coach for many hairdressers and salons. If Valeria is the "what," then Michael is the "how."

Neight Gutierrez, Featured Artist

Neight is a beauty industry veteran of 16 years and a National Educator for Paul Mitchell. He continues to work with some of the top hairdressers in the industry including: Robert Cromeans, Stephanie Kocielski, Scott Cole and Linda Yodice. Neight travels and educates other salons on behalf of Paul Mitchell, as well as having the title of Director of Education for AVBS. There are many things that stylists love to do in the industry, but nothing he himself enjoys more than creating smiles...

Neight will create the best haircut for your needs and will give you the most amazing, beautiful color to accent it. He also enjoys teaching his guests how to "do what he does in the salon" at home. You will have an entertaining time hanging with Neight!

 

Hannah Ellsaesser, Artist

Hannah, always the perfectionist, believes that the consultation is the most important part of the service. "All the training in the world will get you nowhere if you can't get on the same page as your guests by understanding their challenges, goals, limits and needs."

Hannah believes that attention to detail allows haircuts to grow out well and she takes the time to specialize in a cut and color that is truly yours. she is also one our most requested bridal and make-up specialists because of her precision and eye for beauty.
